About Mackenzie

Grace changed everything.

Mackenzie Broyles is a Christian writer whose candid exploration of brokenness and redemption informs her work. In her debut book, Her Grasp of His Grace, she weaves her own story of overcoming abuse, shame, and spiritual doubt with the lives of women in Scripture, offering a raw and hopeful look at God’s relentless grace.

Her writing connects ancient Scripture with modern life, making the Bible accessible and deeply relevant to women from all backgrounds and stages of faith.

Mackenzie lives in Lexington, Kentucky, with her husband of 17 years, Justin. Together, they have three children: Taylor, Cash, and Tripp. Her passion is helping women who have been spiritually and emotionally wounded by pain discover that God’s love has been pursuing them all along.

Her Story

Still being transformed

Mackenzie’s journey carried her from childhood abuse to a life marked by sin and into the radical and relentless love of Christ.

She writes not as someone who has it all figured out, but as a woman who is still actively being transformed by the grace she writes about.
